2 new coronavirus cases involving one of the new patients working at Resorts World Sentosa Casino

Two more coronavirus cases have been confirmed by the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Feb 11 bring the total cases in Singapore here to 47.

46th patient
One of the workers is a 35-year-old Singapore permanent resident (PR) resident in Johor Bahru and who’s working at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) casino. He developed symptoms on 5 Feb and visited a clinic 4 days later on 9 Feb.

He was later taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) on the same day when he was tested positive for the virus on Monday (10 Feb) and currently isolated at the National Centre for Infection Diseases (NCID)

47th patient worked at the same location as 42nd patient
The other one is a 39-year-old Bangladeshi worker who worked at Seletar Aerospace Heights who was found to have the virus last Saturday. He felt ill on 6 Feb and went to the clinic on 7 Feb. He visited the NCID on 10 Feb and was tested positive for the coronavirus. It was reported that the man works and stayed at a rental place at Veerasamy Road.

Neither do not have prior travel to China at all.

Meanwhile, two more patients have been discharged from the hospital, bringing the total number of those who have recovered to nine.
